Some crafty inspiration this Friday...
I love grey. It is the perfect accompaniment to every colour of wool I have. Its hard not to like it when its paired with lush brights or muted pastels.
Im slowly making my way through a granny square crochet blanket to fit snugly on my bed, although I have been losing inspiration with the hot summer weather we have been having in Queensland. I became interested in granny squares from a book & website by Pip Lincolne. She is fantastically thrifty, crafty and kooky which I love! You can find some granny square help & inspiration from Pip here. I followed Pip's step-by-step instructions but found if I needed some more help getting a particular stitch right it was great to watch a youtube a video. So as you can see I am still in my early days of crocheting but I am enjoying every minute!
Have a great weekend!
